Welcome to World Of Reos!
New to our little corner? This guide is here to help you get started!
What is the World Of Reos ARPG?
World-Of-Reos is a character building based art-roleplay game that takes place in a realm called 'Reos' and centers around its inhabitants.
There are no deadlines or activity checks beyond those included in contests/events - we like to focus on character development, community, and artistic growth.
Whether you join to delve into the game's breeding market, to roleplay with the other members, or simply to draw your own Reoseans within the many activities of the game is purely up to you - we welcome you and look forward to seeing you in our world!
We advise reading up on the Group Rules before getting started!
Make sure to also have an account on Wor-keeper.com! This is mandatory to play the game.
WoR-Keeper will be your 'hub'; all of your items are stored here, but the website also holds shops and some activities (like crafting)! Reosean imports themselves are staying on DeviantArt for now, so don't fear if the 'Characters' bit of your account is empty!
We strongly, strongly suggest having a Discord and joining the WoR server - this is where we make all of our news announcements, answer questions, and in general is a hub for the community. You can find a link to it at the top right of the World of Reos Deviantart group page!

What are Reoseans?
'Reosean' is a common word for the different creatures residing in the realm of Reos. There are two main species of Reosean thus far:
Vayrons |
Tyrians |
Vayrons are creatures of varying statures, most commonly about the size of a horse. They're sentient creatures with a high level of intelligence that is equal to that of their human companions. While they cannot speak verbal words, they communicate through other means and are currently enjoying a peaceful alliance with the people of Reos.
Vayron is a collective name for the Runner, Puller and Chaser variant found in World of Reos. |
Tyrians are wyvern-like creatures that rule the skies of Reos. They are also sentient and highly intelligent.
The majority of the Tyrian population only recently came out of hiding after having survived conflict with the Vayron/Human population in years past. They are led by one they call The Elder, and they hail from their mother-land Vitalus. Tyrian is a collective name for the Empyrian and Haedian variant found in World of Reos. |
Vayrons, Tyrians, and other original creatures within World-of-Reos are closed species originally created by Pudingi and currently owned by Eternityspool and Kelyias. As such, they are not free to create/you may not create your own, but you can obtain one via several paths outlined below.
How do I obtain a Reosean of my own?
There are many ways you can obtain a Reosean of your own!
♦ The Reos Adoption Centre - This is by far the easiest way to obtain your first reosean - simply head over to the adoption center journal, look through the list, and follow the instructions to selecting your child! Note you may only adopt 2 cubs/pups per month. ♦ Purchasing from a member - Members of WoR often sell cubs/pups (genos) and already uploaded Reoseans. To check for available Reoseans, keep an eye on the Advertisements folder in our dA group or Discord server! This gets wiped bi-monthly so the advertisements are nice and updated! ♦ Semi-Customs - Semi Custom is a word synonymous to 'Make your Own'. Semi Customs usually offer a nice amount of markings and trait rarities you can choose from and based on that, you can create a Reosean to your liking! The group releases annual sales where Semi Customs may be purchased and each sale is announced beforehand. Another popular way to obtain Reoseans is through breeding, which we will outline in the rightmost column. |
♦ Breeding - World of Reos offers a complex breeding system in which you may pair two Reoseans together and receive a litter of cubs/pups. Before a breeding can take place, you will need slot permissions to both parents and both will need to have received their Pure of Blood Certificates (more on that below). You will then submit the breeding to the current Breeding Requests page and the group admins will return to you with a litter of genos based on the parents' markings and traits.
Split Breedings: Split breedings, or splits for short, are litters split between two users. It is on the users themselves to decide who gets first pick (POTL = Pick of the litter) or additional rules of the split breeding. A personal full slot means you, as the player, can post a breeding three times a month and the entirety of that litter will belong to you. A personal split means that you, as a player, are participating in a breeding that another player has posted. A full slot means there should be no restrictions. You may request to be tagged and, of course, a rule about no inbreeding may be added, however rules such as not allowing breeding a certain marking to the same marking or only breeding to lisse Reoseans must be written as a split slot, regardless if the POTL goes to you or the person you're selling/trading the slot to. |
What is a Geno?
A genotype, or geno for short, is a sort of code that determines how your Reosean will look. This includes the species, gender, bodily traits, color and markings.
Remember that the geno is a set code for how your Reosean will look: you cannot add, change, or remove traits/markings at this time without the relevant items needed to do so. Below, you'll find an example geno and an explanation of each line!

I've got a geno - what do I do with it?
You may now begin designing it! Please refer to the resources linked above to check for proper marking guides, coloration guides, etc. Once you've finished your design, upload it as a .png to your stash and submit it to Design Approval on WoR-Keeper where an admin will take a look at it and determine whether it adheres with our marking/color guidelines or needs edits.
Here are a couple of useful resources, though these are just the basics: there are many more in the Markings and Genotypes section!
How to Work with the Templates
Designing Step By Step
Finishing Touches
Remember that the Import Sheet Form will need to be filled out in the comments under your stash file!
You'll also need to provide proof of how you obtained the geno in the sta.sh somewhere - this will have to be a link to the comment wherein you received the geno, whether it be through breeding, buying, adopting, etc.
Once your Reosean is approved, they will be uploaded to the WoR master-account Reos-Empire. When that is done, you may start playing with your Reosean!

My Reosean has been uploaded! What now?
World of Reos is a game widely based on character building and as so, offers a number of activities and ranks your Reosean can climb through.
♦ The roleplay and story aspect may be built based on the world's canon history and information.
Reos' society lives on the three main continents: Warrenfall, Roenden, and Thedale. Recently, the continent of Vitalus was revealed as well, where the bulk of the Tyrian population currently dwells. Each continent has different aspects to it, allowing the player to choose where they want their Reosean to reside. You can read up on the Reos Locations if you wish to know further information about each of the continents. Many places of the Reos world are yet undiscovered, perhaps it will be you and your Reosean writing the history
♦ Before you start working on your Reosean, it's good to read up on the Credit Point System.
The CP system allows your Reosean to climb through the Political Status ranks and receive bonuses for it. Each image of your Reosean will give them a certain amount of Credit Points that add to their total. This is why you should create a tracker for your Reosean! Whenever your Reosean hits a certain rank, make sure to submit it to Political status updates where an admin will double-check your counts and update your Reosean's Political Status.
♦ There are a wide number of activities you can do with your Reoseans within the game!
Being as these are rather extensive, we've written a separate guide that goes into their details here!

This is done by completing The Purity Trials, once all three trials are completed, an admin will take a look at them and if you've followed the prompts correctly, your Reosean will receive the PoB Certificate award and they will be officially allowed to breed! ♦ When you feel like your Reosean is ready, you may send them Questing or Hunting! There are no prerequisites for Hunting. For Questing, you'll need to ensure your Reosean has completed their Initial Class Quest, but once they do, they will bring back important items that will further improve them as a character or help them on future tasks! |
