The festivities of the Reosean's equivalent of Yuletide often brings those from near and far away lands together to celebrate. Most often than not a decorating of trees or wearing certain funny sweaters is a way of spreading the joy to others, alongside participating in games and activities organized by the different cities and businesses.
This year, it seems that the rowdy crowds have attracted a few newcomers once more. It's not anything new, but it is still surprising each time it happens. Will you be the one to welcome them into the crowd?

General Prizes
Your first entry to an anomaly will earn you a raffle ticket for said anomaly! There will be ten individual anomalies with two of them released a week to keep the 'advent' vibe and suspense!
Limit one ticket per person.
- The Roundbeak Gryph adds one additional ticket.
- The Party Animal Skill adds one additional ticket.

This may change depending on the amount of entrants.
Prizes are rolled at the end of the event.
If you won an anomaly in the last anomaly event, you cannot win another in this event. This is to give others a chance!
For each entry you do, you will earn one Holiday Lootbox. There is no cap on how many entries you can do!* Only on the tickets that you can recieve.
*Edit 01/04/2021: There is now a cap of 30 lootboxes per Anomaly from this date onwards. You can still do entries for CP, though.
The Holiday Lootbox is the same as a Premium Box, except it has a chance of attracting either an Ingin, Pumpkit or Roundbeak Gryph Familiar!

RULES & INFORMATION FOR THE ANOMALY PROMPTS

The Anomalies have individual deadlines which can be seen underneath their cards!
The anomalies are released in pairs of two and remain open for a week only before the next pair is revealed.
♦ Art entries must at minimum be a colored fullbody with a background. 75% of the participating reosean and the anomaly must be visible. Art must have some effort put into it- it will be compared to the rest of your gallery.
♦ Literature entries must be 900 words minimum. The reosean and the Anomaly must have a substantial role in the lit piece (at least 75%).
♦ To redeem the 3CP bonus, the entry must be posted to this journal between December 14th - January 18th and that submission comment has to be linked in the tracker. This ensures that the only pieces redeeming that +3 bonus are pieces made specifically for this event. If you have multiple Reoseans in the same image you can link them all in the same comment vs posting individual comments for them for example!
♦ You can repeat the prompt - however, you can only receive one ticket for the raffle overall (excluding additional ones you can recieve via familiar/skill) You can, however, earn a Holiday Lootbox for each prompt entry you do.
♦ Only three reoseans are allowed per entry for this prompt, excluding the Anomaly (if you're doing the entry yourself, you can include three reoseans, if you collaborate between yourself and two other people, each person may only have one reosean in the piece, etc). This includes spectator reoseans (unless they are NPCs/unofficial reoseans).

A strange vayron suddenly appears at your side. They seem to be made of mist, but are solid when you reach out and touch them. Their glowing, misty eyes regard you for a moment.
"I have come because the spirits are restless," they say. "Perhaps they will calm down if we remember those lost to the snowy mountains. I only ask that you leave an offering at a shrine honoring the forgotten." They hang around, waiting for you to act. - Depict your Reosean leaving an offering at a shrine with the Dawn Spirit. A strange inky substance has been reported off the shore of one of the coastal towns in Thedale, spreading in the ocean waters and trapping creatures in it’s path. A call has been put out to help those trapped, or to try to clean and prevent the spread of any more tar like substance so you’ve ventured to the affected site to lend a claw. While you attempt to help a strange Vayron emerges from the waters, though you aren’t sure if they are friend or foe. Their magic seems to have made tentacle like limbs on its neck.

Fall Equinox

When the seasons change and the leaves begin to fall, it’s said that a Vayron with the power of the forest itself roams the land and ushers in the new season. Many have taken to trying to get a glimpse of such a creature, only to spend weeks in the forest with nothing to show for it. Trailing behind it is a trail of brown and orange leaves, and it often disguises itself amongst the many leaf piles or the naked trees and brushes, shy of those who seek to find it.

The festivals and booths have tons and tons of delicious meals and treats and sweets, most if not all home made by the residents of the continents all over Reos, As you approach one of the booths, a small vayron seems to be distressed as it is trying to rummage through some bags, trying to find something desperately.
"You there! Please- help me. I can make the most delicious pie but I don't have enough berries with me!" - Depict your Reosean helping the vayron collect berries, make the pie, or maybe they destroy the chaser’s hard work. |
