Crafter's Grove
Crafting allows your Reosean to turn the items they've gained from activities into other valuable commodities; such as armor, potions, appearance altering items amongst other things that will benefit your Reosean.
There are four major branches of crafting: The Blacksmith's Forge, The Alchemist's Lab, The Chef's Kitchen and The Artisan's Crafts. Each has its own specific needs and recipes.
While there is a lot of information to go through on this page, everything you need to know will be featured here! Because it IS a lot, here is a simple index:

General Rules and Info
◆ You may craft 5 times in each section every 24 hours. This includes Refining and Deconstructing. This is to prevent a massive influx and to help keep traffic manageable!
◆ Additionally, if you are crafting an influx of the same item, you may craft up to five of the same item in a single comment.
◆ If you are crafting an item that has interchangeable ingredients (Like Leather or Meat) then you MUST add which ingredients you are using. If this is NOT included, we will choose the ingredients at random and you cannot get them back if you find we have used ones you did not want used.
◆ To be able to craft, the items will need to be in your bank.
◆ Similarly, to learn a recipe, you will need a recipe in your bank that fits the item tier you're trying to learn (Practitioner Recipe for a Practitioner Item)
◆ To see which Recipes your Reosean has learned thus far, you can check the following sheet HERE.

Recipe Information
In order to craft items, your Reosean must first learn the recipes. Each item and armor type requires a recipe of that specific rank be obtained and learned before it can be crafted.
◆ Recipes can be free, purchased from the market or Semi-Custom and Starter Slot Sales, won or bought in applicable events, or dropped from the Hunting/Questing/Gathering activities. Once you have obtained a recipe, your Reosean can learn any item in any of the four major branches. For example, obtaining a Practitioner Recipe can allow you to learn the Small Box of Crafts in the Artisan's Crafts- or perhaps you would like to learn how to make Sturdy Armor in the Blacksmith's Forge instead! A recipe is a one time use, so once you learn the recipe for an item, you will need to obtain another recipe to learn more!
◆ Recipes are sorted into ranks with each category having its own chance of successfully learning the recipe. Your Reosean must have learned via a recipe to craft every item in the tier prior in order to advance to the next rank! So if you were to rank from Practitioner to Expert, your Reosean must know how to craft every item in the Practitioner rank in order to become an Expert, and so on!
◆ Recipes for items in ranks that your Reosean has not advanced to can not be learned. You cannot learn an Expert Rank Recipe if you are not an Expert. The only exception is the Practitioner Rank, in which Novice Reoseans can start to learn Practitioner Recipes. Once they have learned at least three recipes in the Practitioner Rank, they can rank up to Practitioner! Once all the recipes in the Practitioner Rank have been learnt, they can advance to Expert, and so on.

- ◆ Practitioner | 70% recipe learning chance. 3 learned recipes required for rank up to Practitioner.
- ◆ Expert | 60% recipe learning chance. All Practitioner learned recipes required for rank up to Expert
- ◆ Master | 50% recipe learning chance. All Expert learned recipes required for rank up to Master
- ◆ Mythic | 40% recipe learning chance. All Master learned recipes required for to learn Mythic Recipes.
◆ To see which Recipes your Reosean has learned thus far, you can check the following sheet HERE.
The Practitioner Recipe can be obtained in the Marketplace.

The Master Recipe is a rare drop in Questing and can also be won in Events or purchased in Event Shops.
|
The Mythic Recipe can only be won in Events or purchased in Event Shops.

Tracking your Recipes
To start crafting you will need a WoR-Keeper account. After submitting your recipes to be learned, and if they are approved, you may start crafting by going to Activity -> Crafting. Additionally, you can also keep a comment or personal tracker to keep track of the recipes you've learned, but this isn't required as the group will track your recipes HERE.
The recipes for the Reosean will be tracked by the group, so that if the Reosean is traded in the future its learnt recipes are not lost. The Recipes that you've learnt while the Reosean was under your ownership will not be revoked.
If you've come into possession of a Reosean that has recipes learnt, you will need to submit for a rank up or for a recipe learning to 'unlock' the other recipes the Reosean already knows, but you as a user does not.
Ofcourse, you will need to mention this in the prompt submission so that our admins are aware of it.

Submitting a Recipe for Learning
◆ Learning a recipe is done through an RNG submission, similar to the Spellmaster method if you're familiar with that!
◆ The Deviation with the image submission MUST state what recipe the Reosean is learning, either in the description or in the image itself!
◆ The Success chances are upped with the following:
◆ To learn a recipe your Reosean must have: A fullbody (at least four bodily sections showing), colored and shaded image with background, at least 500x500 in size, following the prompt below or a literature piece of 800 words following the prompt below AND a recipe item for the tier of the item that you wish to learn! Meaning you must own a Master Recipe if you want to learn how to craft a Master tier item!
◆ The Deviation with the image submission MUST state what recipe the Reosean is learning, either in the description or in the image itself!
◆ The Success chances are upped with the following:
- +10% for an Specific Area Item attached to the prompt (Protective Goggles, Blacksmith Hammer, Cooking Pot and Book of Blueprints)
- +10% for possessing a Specific Area Skill (Potion Master, Smithy, Chef, Crafty)
- +5% for a Blob Familiar (+10% if it's a Rainbow Blob)
- +10% for the inclusion of max 1 Master Crafter Companion in your entry (A Reosean of rank Master in the area you're learning the recipe from)
◆ To learn a recipe your Reosean must have: A fullbody (at least four bodily sections showing), colored and shaded image with background, at least 500x500 in size, following the prompt below or a literature piece of 800 words following the prompt below AND a recipe item for the tier of the item that you wish to learn! Meaning you must own a Master Recipe if you want to learn how to craft a Master tier item!
- PROMPT: As a Reosean's knowledge expands, it's important to see where they came from. Draw or write about your Reosean studying scrolls, books, interacting with their craft or perhaps even being instructed by a fellow Reosean in order to learn to craft. Are they succeeding? Or is their project turning into a massive failure? (Ex. taste testing teas or cookies, sharpening a sword and it slipped, mixing up the wrong potions, etc!)
♦ Backgrounds should have at least separate 3 elements in them aside from the ground/sky. Clustered elements of the same type (such as many rocks stacked together) count as 1 element.
-- Correct Elements: Rocks, foliage, water, mountains, clouds, trees, moons etc -- Incorrect Elements: Sun, grass, ground, sky -- These elements should have some depth and texture to them - meaning they need some (subtle) form of shading at the minimum- flat grey blobs will not be accepted for rocks, flat brown lines will not be accepted for trees, etc. |
-- Brushes and textures are allowed, but if these are used as elements they must still follow the depth and texture rules above!
♦ Reoseans should follow the laws of gravity; no floating reoseans just to fit extras into the image.
♦ Reosean markings need to be recognizably placed and shaped in comparison to where they are on the vayron's import (ex. randomly placed blobs for merle will not be accepted, they don't have to be perfect but they should be in a similar size and shape to those on the import).
♦ 'Stick Figures' will not be accepted, some amount of muscle or joint definition should be visible. Reoseans must also at least have their core features visible, such as Eyes, Mouth, Paws, Markings and their identifiable traits (tail and ears)
♦ MAKE SURE to mention which item/recipe the Reoseans are learning in the Image description! This helps our crafters out immensely, as well as putting it in the WoR-Keeper prompt!

Step One: Go to the following prompt
Step Two: Copy the Reosean's URL (from the stash) into #2 Step Three: Fill out the form below and paste it into #3 Link to Import: Link to Learning Attempt Entry: What Recipe are you learning: Here you'll put Alchemy - Colossal Health Potion, for example Recipe Tier: For the above example, you would put -Master- here. Additional Bonuses: - List here the bonuses that increase your learning % ◆ If you fail to learn the recipe, you do not have to redraw a new image! But your recipe item will be destroyed. Think of it as accidentally cutting up the paper while you're trying to cut up some cloth, or accidentally melting it into a sword and messing up! To try again, you'll need a new Recipe item for the item you're trying to learn, and you can re-use the image you made prior. |
Forgetting a Recipe
◆ Forgetting a recipe will wipe your Reosean's knowledge. This means that they will not be able to craft certain things anymore in the future until they learn the recipe again!
This might be useful for people who would prefer to start over with a newly acquired Reosean, or perhaps people who don't wish to sell their Reoseans with their achievements. While their recipes will reset, their rank, however, will not. ◆ You will need an Amnesia Tonic to forget a recipe! Step One: Go to the following prompt Step Two: Copy the Reosean's URL (from the stash) into #2 Step Three: Fill out the form below and paste it into #3 Link to Import: What Recipe are you forgetting: |
Leveling up your Reosean's Rank
◆ As you progress in the Crafter's Grove and learn recipes, you can increase your rank to increase your learning chances and to learn new recipes!
◆ The information on the recipes can be found above in the Recipe Information section. You must learn ALL of the recipes of the tier prior to level up to the next one. Similarly, you must learn ALL master recipes before you can craft a mythic. Step One: Go to the following prompt Step Two: Copy the Reosean's URL (from the stash) into #2 Step Three: Fill out the form below and paste it into #3 Link to Import: Link to Reosean's Crafting Tracker: (your Tracker that the admins comment on when you craft an item) Current Tier: New Tier: |
Merchants
There are merchants available for each major branch of crafting who will both sell and buy crafting materials and items! They will each have their own inventory and you can't just sell anything to any of them. The one for Cooking for example, will only take cooked items and sell cooking ingredients.
